  1. Hi from Munich everyone - Fran annd I are fine, we're now not allowed to row but can ride our bikes and go running in the park. Fran is now working from home and her firm has suspended travel for the time being. I'm practicing organ at two different churches, working on the next ballet recording (our recordings are now at 47,000 downloads per week!!!) and was subbing until the crisis. My main focus has been on learning German which is coming along (every day classes for 5 months) - hope everyone is well and safe . It turns out that he women's choirs here in Munich seem to all be more 'pop' 'choirs - lots of people have expressed interest in a serious classical women's choir, the issue being finding rehearsal and perofrmance space - but people are thinking about it and looking at options - there's no rush, but it seems to be an evolving and live concept. I've been singing tenor in an excellent SATB chorus (everyone can sight-sing) here - we were going to do Haydn Stabat, but it's cancelled - We did Bach B minor and Christmas Concerts at the Hochschule last fall. - Much love and an elbow bump to everyone - Kevin & Fran

  2. Hi fellow choralers! I will not be able to join you on April Fool’s unfortunately. I have been working at one of the first pilot sites for corona virus testing sponsored by FEMA, UHPHS and CVS. I am at the Shrewsbury location testing first responders and healthcare providers. I’m wearing good (Ebola grade) gear and enjoying working with the Public Health Service again. My first time with them was back in the time of Katrina. I’m also having fun with many of the CVS employees I am teamed with.
    Have fun and stay safe!
