Sopranos, no need to print score for open sing

For S1 and S2s who plan to attend the Fauré open sing on Sun, 2/8 and plan to sing soprano.

No need to print the score Nandini sent out on 2/4 if you just make some erasable markings in your SSA scores.


For this guide,  upper case S refers the soprano part  in the score that will be sung on Sunday. S”

Lower case s1,s2,a refers to the voice line from our score.  m = measure #

 

Kyrie: S sings the s1 and s2 lines as they alternate.

At m20, tenors sing

At m42, S sings our s2 part

m50 to end, S sings our S1 part


Offertorium:  S doesn’t sing till m80, then S sings s1 part to the  end


Sanctus: S sings s1 line and s2 line as they trade off until m23.

S sings s1 at m35 and m47 to end


Pie Jesu:  Solo, enjoy!


Agnus Dei: S doesn’t sing till m19 -30 and then sings the s1  lin 

m45 to end, S sings s1.


Libera me:  Solo till m37, then S sings s1 to end.


In Paradisum, S sings s2 and  s1 as they alternate, to the end.
